Because of the love of pretty things, the toy poodle captured my heart many years ago. My husband bought my first toy poodle 25 years ago.
With his passing I also soon lost my "Dukie" shortly there after. Out of loneliness, I began searching for another toy poodle. Dukie's groomer of many years turned me on to Rose Koehl of Koehl's Toy Poodles who had available an adorable 6 month old white girl, and there
began my love and infatuation of the white toy poodle.
Rose and I became fast friends, then I went to PCA and it wasn't long before I bought my first white toy poodle for the show ring named Koehl's Crystal Moment. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, "Crystal" was
not able to obtain her championship but did produce a lovely future champion by the name of Marianas Tiffany Crystal Doll.
Rose then told me of another little girl who was sure to finish her championship, so I bought her and she became CH Koehl's Puttin' On The Ritz. Sadly, Rose died before Ritzy became a champion but I know she is smiling down on her.

I had been dancing and teaching ballet for 30 years. I loved the stage, lights, glitter sparkle, and the costumes then with the passing of both my husband and Rose Koehl it almost seemed like destiny that my love for the spot light
be carried through in the show ring. There is nothing more glamorous than the sight of a white toy poodle, all done up, everyone's eyes focused on her... she glides across the floor just like the ballerina that I once was.
Now, I am thankful to have Jesse and Jane Burrows and their exceptional care of my show toy poodles and Joe Strange for his years of knowledge and friendship.
